Interactive Product Widget

Veeva contacted Efex Media to develop interactive S-Controls for their cloud-based life sciences applications built on the SalesForce platform. They needed to visually spice up their application to enhance usability and marketability.

Efex Media built three S-Controls which were integrated into their applications using the SalesForce AJAX API to access the SalesForce backend database.

Sphere of Influence Control

The "Sphere of Influence" control is a robust SalesForce S-Control that graphically manages the relationships of a given account or contact. Arrows indicate the degree and direction of influence. The interface not only illustrates the relationships, but also enables users to add or edit the relationships using a drag-n-drop interface.

Office Hours Control

The "Office Hours" control allows users to visually view and specify the working business hours for an entire week. Graphic handles can be dragged to modify times. Clicking into any weekday area enables users to add new periods using intuitive language (e.g. 8-11 and 12:30)

Ratings Control

The "Ratings Control empowers users to view and specify product ratings through a visual interface. The user merely drags their cursor over the ratings boxes and clicks to change the rating on the backend.
