Shell’s world-wide graduate recruitment division decided it was time to move away from powerpoint presentations and leverage state-of-the-art online technologies to not only boost the quality of their presentations, but also to manage the distribution, customization and control of content.

Efex Media was tasked to create a database-driven online portal that would serve as the central point where all presentations could be managed as well as the online & offline tools for creating and delivering presentations. This included:

> A secure online portal with user and admin permissions

> An online tool to create, preview and download presentations

> A presentation player or client that would run on a recruiter’s laptop

> An asset library where all presentation slides could be downloaded including video files, flash animations and user-developed slides

> An online slide creation tool with built-in approval workflow including region-based approvals and reminders
